Preventive Care is a key in helping improve the overall health of the population, its most effective when applied to children and young adults. Around the world and even in the United States there are areas that has limited or no Dental care and lack the awareness of preventive care. Smiling Angels International works with dental and other health professionals to help diagnose, treat and prevent dental diseases. The organization was founded in Atlanta in 2018 by a group of local Dental Professionals and rapidly was able to receive commitment and support from Dental professionals around the world to help emphasize the importance of preventive care and provide needed dental services beyond the emergency services to include restorative, prosthetic and oral surgeries.

The organization is recognized by the IRS as a 501c(3) organization where all donations are tax-deductible. It's also recognized by the UN as an NGO (Non-Governmental Agency)
